The brief

Vodafone Business was having problems with organic traffic finding and engaging with its blog content on its V-Hub platform – a support and information resource for small and medium businesses. The company was relying heavily on referral traffic from online advertising, with no SEO strategy in place. This meant that a lot of content on V-Hub wasn’t getting enough exposure, or traffic numbers would trail off entirely.

Our solution

We offered content consultancy and SEO copywriting services to Vodafone Business for three months, giving the company insight into best SEO copywriting practice, and how this can improve traffic to V-Hub blogs. We put forward a UX schedule to test for SEO effectiveness. We proposed quantitative testing in Google Analytics (GA4) to monitor visitor traffic and returning traffic, Hotjar to monitor scroll depth and click tracking, and on-page testing via simple user surveys. We also suggested qualitative testing in terms of embedded user surveys and user depth interviews, and designed a new content strategy for V-Hub. The client gave us positive feedback in that after the three months, V-Hub content was performing much more successfully.
